I must admit I do like his music... it's very infectious...
strange mix of dance music, and heavy metal I guess... :)

I don't like him per se, but he's worth a laugh.

Many, many drunken laughs actually

he said in an interview that hitting himself with the brick
hurt too much, so he used some sort of animal blood for the
photo.

he's pretty great...can be enjoyed ironically and as loud
party music at the same time. after listening for 30
seconds, i am inevitably pumping my fist in the air.

He is out there. I'd like to hit him with a brick. I guess
he does belong on stage ... but fuck him. His music is
dumb. I'm sorry, but I've only heard PARTY HARD. Please.

I want to hate him... but there is just this interesting
factor about it. Its like when your parents tell you not to
look directly at the sun but you do anyway.

his sound is like if some producer of a britney record ( max
martin ) would make a solo album. ( soulless, boring, silly,
and just way too radio friendly )

His new album is amazing.
I remember standing in the Crazyhouse (shit metal club in
Liverpool) when I was about 18, and after hours of shitty,
whining nu-metal suicide-pop, "Party Hard" came on and it
felt like the perfect antidote to all that shit. You have to
get it in that context, depressing music is now the dumbed
down mainstream, cashing in on teenage angst. It takes balls
to be as positive as him.

The amount of shit he got off people, constantly being
ridiculed by miserable gen-X journalists, it might not take
balls, but it's a lot easier and more acceptable to be on a
downer nowadays in music.

Am I right in thinking his music is derivitive of Oi punk
mixed in with the Ramnoes and a splash of himself?

What really stands out about him ...THE WHITE T-SHIRT!
