"oh, it's this one" so that's the "manchester track" -- i've heard it and i've heard people talk about it, but never put the two together. it is a properly good track. i can't remember what rfc pt8 sounded like except for the echoing kick drum, that sounded mathematically interesting, geometric. i sat down to try and rip this off, but that only lasted about five minutes before i'd forgotten about that and the opening 3D vector cloud in thad's canoe big: it's a video with a picture of a vinyl record? i don't understand |

Q: When did EpicMegatrax first hear 180db? A: 2005 it's in what i have as "AFX Live Set - 06.04.05.mp3" i thought it was great but i didn't peg it as new afx, actually! it was quite a giggle to finally find out what that was when syro came out but synthacon 9, also first time i heard it, this set -- that was like YES THIS IS DEFINITELY NEW APHEX you know because he killed a whole channel to stop it from killing sales and/or to increase sales because he knew killing the channel would be interpreted by anoraks this way then it's synthacon 9 by APHE^H^H the tuss that one did not particularly fool me. 180db did. a weird smell for him |
