that guy again? we already had that guy on here. don't waste
your energy, belb. his art is bland, his persona is
obnoxious bcos youtube but hes not the worst tuber and he
might get some peeps interested in creating their own music
machines vs GASing 24/7

ok =) before i used a korg sq1 and a lowpass gate from my
modular system to sequence pitches and chop some tapes which
was fun, but i didnt record it

in the clip i just played some tapes i had laying around and
i mostly cved the speed with an lfo to make it all warbly.
im still figuring out the variety of sounds my system can
create so i can get a better feeling for it. just skip
though the thing, its not a composition or anything, just
trying to find some sweet spots

the tape player is now an integrated part of my system. its
connected to my eurorack and also connected to my main mixer
so i can record stuff on the fly and throw it through my
modular, which is cool

i might record a tape with just long tones in C, like this
guy. but i was just too lazy and i wanted to warble up my
stack of tapes

i didnt do it like this guy, i used a vactrol-kit from
synthrotek. i was afraid i would fry my whole system,
because my cassette player is not a walkmen. i usually plug
it into the wall

in the end i used the vactrol-kit and i power both, the
cassette player and the kit with batteries, so im on the
save side since i don't 100% know what im doing :)

interesting stuff! the delay and overdrive on the chanting
monks is especially good

it's me. and, no, i never got around to it. but i think i do
still have it in a bin somewhere

at the moment, i don't really have a good place to solder.

on the "has anyone done this, yet?" front, i've seen pages
going back fifteen years of people bodging together old
cassette decks to make tape delay. i've never seen anyone
add in CV, though. seems interesting

here, look ~ i managed to find the OG ghetto old forum
thread from 2005
