That dystopia is only slightly worse than the current one. A soda costs like a dollar, maybe you're forced to buy 1 a week, that's like 4 dollars per month, whereas the apartment rent itself is 600 to $2000 a month. You're not allowed to buy an apartment, they aren't for sale, only for rent. What're you gonna do, let your chickens buy your hen house? They pay you with eggs to rent there. The soda only slightly increases your rent. It does prevent you from drinking the other brand but coke is poison with mercury and flouride whereas pepsi is aborted fetuses with nanotechnology, so both should be avoided. |

growing up, parents never drank soda. no soda around the house. mom drank seltzer, that was the closest fing. when i was five and sister was three, aunt comes over to visit. mom asks "would you like something to drink?" "sure," my aunt says, "i'll have a pepsi." "what's pepsi?" my sister and i ask. my aunt's mind was blown yeah, never really developed a taste for the stuff. don't hate it, just rarely drink it |

it was always cheap orange squash concentrate at our house cos you could make a bottle last forever, coke / pepsi were for rich kids. i didn't really develop a taste for it until i started work at 16, and was trying to fight off post-friday night hangovers (had to be up at 6 to open the car park). rib n saucy nik naks and a bottle of cold coke worked like a dream and i never looked back |
