this year, my place is totally over run by small house spiders, in every nook and crevice I find another one, I cant bring myself to banish them or kill them but its making it hard to dust the cobwebs without dislodging them from their reverie. Does anyone have any suggestions, because the amount of spiders I am seeing, by next year they will spawn exponentially

i have few spiders so they are manageable without killing. i don't know what i'd do if there were many of them though.

Spider Circus definitely.
I chat to "mine", though I tend to only have a few big ones. They come out to me to die. Seriously creepy and happened a few times: the spider will suddenly appear in front of me on the floor in my lounge, and it will stay there until it dies. Usually only an hour or so. I've tried to make sense of it.

I'd like to think they enjoy the fact that instead of killing them, or being afraid, I enjoy philosophical ramblings with them. I think they see me as a pretty cool host. In my little fantasy world they come out to die to say goodbye, and as a sign of respect.

I've had loads more spiders this year flake. Never had false widows in Ireland at all to my knowledge and suddenly in the past year there have been dozens in my gaf. From what I read they've exponentiated in number in the UK too. Loads more harvestmen/daddy longlegs as well setting up camp along the ceilings. Weird

I really like spiders so it doesn't bother me, I just fuck them out the window. Just don't want to get bitten by a false widow, cheeky bastids have been in my clothes and bedsheets a few times, but luckily I've found them before putting things on or getting into bed. Apparently they only tend to bite when they're cornered.
