don’t read i you don’t like terror threads

The west thinks its all gone quiet.

However, kids having their limbs blown off is a daily
thing

its only front page news if it happens in Europe and other
'western' areas

in just 5 days
Killed 403
Injured 486

for example:

5th aug Afghanistan Kabul 41 killed 103 injured
Two suicide bombers on foot slaughter dozens of commuters.

5th aug Syria Tartus 38 killed 40 injured A double
suicide bombing leaves at east thirty-five dead.

Not that i think of myself as any sort of moral arbiter, but
the fact everyone on this site, including me, is to some
degree rather blase about lots of little kiddies getting
their limbs blown off in ever more horrific ways shows what
a particularly shitty world we currently live in.

it's a valid question. the geriatric springer fan crowd,
devout christians, frustratingly earnest soccer moms, ayn
rand lifestyle devotees, purple-skulled, greed-driven
millionares, ted nugent fans.... without all these, well,
yes, there would be progress. fast. it would go off the
rails. it'd be like giving a 16 year-old birthday boy with a
newly minted license a lamborghini and a bottle of
champagne. it'd be a miracle if he made it to the day after
his birthday.

so, next time you see one of those people, thank them for
their contribution by trolling them mercilessly. enraged,
they will become loud and perform their contribution to
society in a more optimized manner... it's important to keep
them mad. if they calm down enough to try and use rational
logic, the conversation drifts back down to the baseline
state of football, jesus, and gossip.

A man was arrested for swearing at a terrorist.

Did you hear about that?

Some terrorist is shooting up random people in the street.

A man shouts at the killer from his window "you bast*rd" and
so forth ...the police arrest him for in-sighting hatred
toward the terrorist.

In Europe/ Germany?, if I remember the rightly.

randomly, a teenager and he was on top of a multi story car
park and some guy from his flat was asking him what he was
doing and calling him a son of a bitch

its just horrific pictures of people and kids being burnt to
death horrifically by chemicals, i think its international
crime to use it as its particularly evil to use it, but some
countries still do

its very weird when you can watch these things happening
practically live infront of your eyes, i think the media
exploiting these events for entertainment purposes clouds
peoples judgement to how horrific they actually are

oh yeah i part read some of that ,

And i thought...."but it is not an international crime to
shpot someone in the face or fire a bomb through a nursery
window!".

how lovely. not

yes its weird that they even bother to make the distinction,
its murder anyway you look at it, i suppose the weapons
manufacturers/governments have to keep up the pretense that
they arent that bad

always pixeled out.... we are lucky to see death injury toll
numbers.

no one knows until it happens to ones self or family.

we are all being desensitized , the French president said:

"get used to it"

they need to sell the old, to make the new.

The new ones are used to protect the elite.

gets mentioned on tv, i used to see it alot when we first
invaded iraq then it all went away, its never really brought

we live in a vacuum of moral relativism, we arent meant to
express opinions about these things because we arent being
told directly that they are even happening unless you go out
your way to find out about them

Raises questions. Particularly in regards to 'ethical
killing'.

^ goes without saying i don't regard any sort of killing
ethical, i get your point i accidentally implied that there
are certain degrees of difference.

there is a relentless and thirsty thresher eager to suck in
anyone willing to stretch an abstract noun over the part of
their brain responsible for knowing when the government is
full of shit

terrorism became a thing, then everything became terrorism.
oh, boo, terrorism is such a problem! well, of course it is.
you guys latched onto the word fifteen years ago and you've
been more and more creative with it since. a disgruntled
employee with brown skin? terrorism! a mentally ill man
mailing his favorite brand of baking soda to politicians?
terrorism! people with extremely foreign names and words and
a dog move in, and sometimes the dog pees on your tree lawn?
terrorism!

can some of it go back to being disgruntled employees,
nutters, and mal-adjusted gun collectors? those are just a
couple of the obvious ones

fleets of them.

fleet:
"
A number of vessels having a shared origin, purpose, or area
of operation"

Plural of mice. Taken from the song "Scrooge" in "The Muppet
Christmas Carol".

"No cheeses for us meeces."
