EART HL I NG review

that I found recently and really enjoyed:

scroll down and down and down

my fav bit:

“there is a piano-driven free jazz breakdown in the
third track that does certain things with keyboards and
drums that are bluntly outside of the ability of just about
anybody working solely in the field of electronic music,
with the sole exception of Tom Jenkinson.“

tl;dr version: electronic music is not evil and David Bowie
is not a bad person because he used the genre during 1990s

This album got unfairly characterised as "Bowie doing
Jungle", it's far more varied than that. 5/5 from me,
perhaps unsurprisingly.

my favorite bowie album, but there are quite a few i still
haven't heard.

it is also one of those albums i've had pop up in dreams and
uncanny synchronicity etc etc but i think that's just bowie
in general
