If you have a baby, or your wife does and chooses to do csection, make sure she considers vaginal swabbing. Research is showing that as the baby passes through the birth canal/vagina they are inoculated with the mother's bacteria. This is an important first step in developing a strong immune system. Women who opt for csection and do no wipe the baby down immediately with a cloth stored in her vagine are allowing their child to pick up any bacteria from any person in the labour room. It's even being suggested that a contributing factor to increased allergies in society could be in part to more csections as well as our liberal use of antibiotics. Antibiotics may contribute to obesity as well. For decades farmers have know that a little dose of antibiotics in their live stock can add valuable pounds to their cattle.
