This name has always stuck in my craw. I don't particularly
like it or dislike it, or even feel strongly about it in
general. If I had to give it a color, I would say it is
pink, but that might just be the Elephant talking. I suppose
I'd describe the name as a chess play crossing wires with
the sort of phrase you'd use to describe a large dump. You
know, a city can't be called a city here unless it has a
cathedral.

Not a huge fan of the place.

it is a dirty pink, to be sure. dirt's sort of transparent
grey speckles, like casual soda spatter from 3months ago
gone to mildew.

Ever had some Delirium Tremens (the beer)? It's not one of
my faves in the stronger beers but it's not bad and i love
the bottle.

As for the place i was talking about a part of London which
is the first thing that comes to mind when i see the name.

ever had some delirium tremens
(the psychotic alkyshaky condition)? it's not one of my
faves in the stronger psychoses that can kill you but
it's not bad and i love the feeling of a thousand crawling
insects on my skin

(i do like the beer actually :)

can't recall trying it, but that doesn't mean i haven't.
i've largely lost interest in the whole craft beer
smorgasbord, if something comes highly recommended i'm not
going to argue

Well it gives a nice glow and you don't need 10 bottles. In
those kinds though i prefer a Maudite or Fin du Monde.
Canadian i think.

They're from Chambly? Quebec brewer, they're great, they
also do a series of historically-themed bieres with fancy
stories on the label to explain them. Very high-brow stuff.
