Far more dangerous are pitbulls and their assssocited
breeds, from what i hear they can be hair trigger cunts.
mate of a mate got gangrene from a bad dog bite

My dog is the most important being in my life. He's getting
grey hairs because he thinks a lot, bless him!

This is a cliché by now but the owners are the dangerous
ones.
Also how well looked after was your friend's wound? It's a
well known fact dog's mouths are much 'cleaner' than cats'
or even ours.

I reckon you can teach any dog to be agressive, no matter
how tiny or cute. The opposite is also possible, no matter
how big or mean looking.

The nastiest dogs i see in town are always the smaller dogs,
over protected by some ageing woman.

I know a few people who are terrified of dogs because they
were bitten. They were all bitten by dogs breeds you
wouldn't expect.

Well yeah dogs have teeth!

Terrible for your friend :( I was not saying it was his
fault or anything.

the young lady next door has some rescue dog that's part
pitbull and part god knows what else. was used as practice
dog by assholes training dogs to fight. you'd think this
would be an animal i'd stay well away from, but truth is,
she's a sweetie pie. dog runs over to say hello. leans on
me; sticks to me like glue. i'm honestly more worried about
the dog's owner's boyfriend, who seems a tad irritated the
dog likes me so much. as if this is my foot in the door to
stealing his girlfriend... so yeah, watch out for those dog
owners.

in general, i think you can read dog body language with a
bit of experience. i don't find it hard to tell the
difference between a dog saying OMG HELLO I AM FRIENDLY vs.
a dog who seems frightened or aggressive. most of the
problems happen when the dog's not properly trained (or
worse, abused) and someone ignores or misunderstands the
signals the dog sends out...

also, Fah has completely ignored this topic. if i were a
dog, i would bite him.

"the young lady next door"

You should do sex to her.

(and her dog)

she's pretty flirty (and pretty in general) but it felt like
it was want-attention flirty instead of want-your-dick
flirty. boyfriend is understandably the jealous
attention-giving sort (but still a nice chap). i think
they're engaged, actually, and they bought the house.
really, given i live right next to them, i don't want to get
in the middle of that. i don't have the interpersonal
finesse to get away with it. don't shit where you live etc
etc
