It's a dry run for when Bowie goes. Not looking forward to
that.

Like my grandmother-in-law (?) said, the weed never dies,
he'll outlive us all.

She was talking about her husband, and not, you know, anyone
else.

I can't believe i had the cheek to ask for two drinks at
once back at the Ibis. Usually when i'm poorly i drink water
with sugar and salt but being in a 'cell' (it might as well
be said) with no bath and two measly bags of sugar i needed
all the K7 (or whatever it's called) i could get!

We can talk about this here i gather as it's still cryptic
as an owl staring contest. (whaa)

Ahhh, bless. I liked the way you'd just go "Can I
have...
" not quite like a spoilt child, but a child one
cherishes because they are so honest and disarming and you'd
do anything for them, especially if they would just get
better
. I do want to hunt down Jesus and bum-handle him,
risking eternity in Hell, until he fixes you.

Jesus might like the bum fun and then i'm the one truly
fucked!

I better stop bumming him then, see if it sorts you out.

Let's see if he 'sorts me out'! I'm waiting for you , Jesus
of Nazareth, son of GOD!

(honestly, if you're there..)

I was pissed up in a bar in France when I heard the news. We
asked the karaoke guy if he had any velvet underground. He
didn't, so we didn't sing a tribute.

lars ulrich remembers lou reed via writing a column that spends 2/3 of the
wordcount talking about lars ulrich, metallica, metallica
albums, and what lou reed has done for metallica albums

this about sums up mr. lars

honestly, i know of lou reed squarely because of metal
machine music. i think it was from a link off of mefi. to
this day, i still have not (knowingly) heard any of reed's
stuff other than metal machine music. it's not contempt, or
even disinterest... simply haven't found the time. i love
metal machine music, though, i often work samples from it
into my tracks as a little private joke.

I crossed his path once and asked if he'd sign something to
which he replied "you have nothing to sign" and walked on.

Always go out with a random vinyl or CD in case you see the
artist who made it.

It's sexist really because women don't have this problem,
they can always get their tits signed.

Maybe another time, get your nob out ( I get my nob out for
any occasion (yes, I'm trying too hard, making Young
Ameritards weep)))

i figure most artists will sign your face, actually. i've
never put it to the test, but i imagine the face is so
public and hard to ignore, that signing a face grants the
same sense of power and privilege signing a nice set of
knockers does.

myself, i bring a blender and some 80-grit to every afx gig

Of course, my face! Why didn't i think of it? I sure had
mine with me.
