hello mates,
here my first session as a traktor (or ubuntu version of it)
DJ.

Just chilling with some friends, joints, me on PC, friend on
kaosspad. Mixing without monitoring. Theme selection
restricted to friend's wavs on pc (bjork, ufabulum, mhtrtc,
fly-lo, neotokyo and not many more...).

Mostly sync'ed and some nice moments of classic electronics.
Skip the first 10 minuts if you are not liking the intro
(thats not really a intro, first 15 min. not recorded...)

LAZY_Enjoy!

Gotta say, pretty terrible mixing dude. Some nice tunes in
there but very few that complemented each other well. Also
the actual balancing and levels of each track coming in or
out were absolute shite. Maybe wait til you've had some
practice before uploading something as awful as that

haven't actually listened, but getting your levels right is
all about pre-listening, so if as haft said that's an issue
i'd say get yourself some headphones and a proper sound card
so you can pre-listen and clean up your transitions.

traktor djing is great, but makes it real easy to ignore
some very important parts of a dj set for the sake of
immediacy.

hahaha
ok i have to agree its pretty terrible,
i was just happy for my first session...

in my defense i have to say i had no pre-listening at all,
and it wasnt even a planned session, just improvised
software testing...

thank for educative comments. sorry to waste your time.

i would suggest noone else to listen to it now.

the squarepusher/boc moment is great xD - I can imagine you
had LOTS of fun. and that's what counts.

it's sometimes hard to record some special bits and show
them to others. lots of great mixing moments get lost in
time before I even press record. or the recorded and edited
3 minutes can't match the greatness of 3 hour session.
life..

thank you obbie :) youre always too nice my friend...

i also like the part at the end with the Neotokyo tune +
bjork singing, that was nice, and the ending boc with the
kaosspad madness.

maybe i should cut the good pieces and just show that,
dunno,
i was too lazy to, and, as my friend already uploaded the
whole session, i decided to post at it is... just showing it
here to you, my braindance friends, anyway...
