I reckon if I'm gonna get any info on this baby, it'll be
here. You guys know anything about this funky gem?

an 8bar bassline looped over and over with FM acid twonks,
fast roland noises with clever blasts of fx. this has never
been done before. truly the most original thing since ice
ice baby

i've also never seen a video for an acid track that uses old
PSA footage off archive.org

hey, the track was posted anonymously, do you think it could
be the tuss?

Yah, pretty good.

Perhaps the video poster knows the track...

after a bit more of a think, i'd like to clarify my position
on this issue beyond heartfelt sarcastic remarks:

it is technically proficient. the video is passable. but
there's not much here i haven't heard before. the bassline
gets boring before the drum breakdown. breakdown is nice;
the slow pitch drop drum counterpoint fing is nauseating in
a lovely way. then the metallic acid tear detuned pads we
all know and love. goes limp a bit then; just some pushing
up the lfo/env pitch sliders on the juno for a bit to make
the bros go all WHOA MAN IT'S DERPIN OUT before pushing
those back down, camera-lens-focus-animation! before
bringing the bassline back, and starting over.

aside from the bassline getting repetitive, there is little
wrong with this track. it is actually quite impressive in
this regard, sort of like a raphael painting. for a bit you
marvel at the very precise, clinical cuts. the detailed
shadows. then you stop squinting, lean back and say: wow,
this is really boring for such a good painting. the dude
just paints stupid jesus shit; it gets boring. i always
preferred van gogh's moody warbles.

as an xlt poster and acid fan, i like it, though JK's "Plus
Ten" is far more impressive, and monolith is more fun. i am
fed up with the whole anonymous-acid-track schtick. it
screams "i am some loser fanboy trying to be clever." (just
like this post). the video just furthers that impression;
it's pretty uncreative.

my goodness. now there's a post that screams "watmm reject"
through an infinite chain of megaphones

more like "watmm refugee." past 2009 or so, that place got
pretty brutal

It's hackneyed shit, by the way.
