Don't worry. Words are overrated anyway.

Mostly.

I think.

I hadn't come across it before, and I found it interesting
that the word itself is a calque of the german word
Lehnwort. Did you come out of retirement for a
vocabulary test?

BBC Breaking News

Marcus Bartholomew Hutchison has today come out of
retirement, for vocabulary testing at this year's vocabulary
testing invitational, The London Vocab Classic. Being one
of the legendary vocabulary test takers of the 20th century-
with a record breaking 428 consecutive tests (scoring an
average of 72%)- his fans await his return to the desk and
#2 pencil.

"Competition is pretty tough nowadays with elite vocab test
takers like VanBuren, Holstoff, and Chen, but it was
Hutchison who got me into competitive vocab testing when I
was 12, due to his romantic, somewhat aggressive testing
style. I never thought I'd get to see him vocab test live,
so it's a real treat.", said amateur vocab tester Billy Wal,
14, of Chanunga High.

Marcus Hutchison retired vocabulary testing in 1978, due to
a minor heart attack and liver failure, which doctors say is
due to over 30 years of vocabulary testing. "After awhile,
you whole body just falls apart.", says Hutchison's
physician Dr. Wilson. "You can't expect to vocab test for
decades and not come out with a serious injury, paralysis,
or even death." High level vocabulary testing is indeed,
one of the most dangerous power sports to ever be conceived,
which has some worrying about Hutchison's health for his
return to the London Vocab Classic. "The modern vocab
testing room is no place for an old man like Hutchison, but
his spirit is inspiring. I wish him the best", says long
time fan Jeff Morrison.

"I'm 72 years old, but I'm not afraid of 20 somethings like
VanBuren and Lowe. I'm a master of all openings and have
trained a novelty technique, which I believe nobody will be
able to beat. And if I die, I die."

The world is looking forward to Hutchison (vocab test rating
8329) versus Chen (vocab test rating 9012), which will be
Hutchison's first high level vocabulary testing match since
his Dubai charity simul, in 2009. Tune in to BBC28 this
Wednesday at 5AM, for full live coverage of this monumental
match in vocabulary tes

totally. though, when doc verbus pulled off that no-eraser

Imagine doing acid during the Olympics, if you were a world
class competing athlete. Shit's already nutz, so it might
all of a sudden seem like nothing and make sense.

a physical, printed thesaurus is just as much of a dinosaur
as a printed dictionary. as a concept, though neither are
dinosaurs at all... computers have just replaced print,
because it's faster than leafing through pages and easier to
keep current.
