I'd like xltronic-curated net art: Browser experiments, music systems, SMS/hypertext fiction, GIFs, CGI etc, games, whatever. Places to get lost. Self-made=ok.
If you care to talk, welcome topics might be 'where things are heading' or best communities/tools for generating content (not conspiracy theories or power structure laments). If you haven't already, please take a moment to zoom out on this pyramid.
The definition of net art for this thread is broad and ambiguous. Meme culture & dumb shit is fair game. For whatever it's worth, the artistic philosophies of Aristotle, Balzac and Kant resonate with me. Have fun

read this (i havnt looked into enough of this so dont take it all as gospel)
i had gotten wind of some of this including the involvement of secret agencies but i need more sources. this will clue u into some of the key components of my point. look into Al-Banna
the problem with islam and our questions about the role of our western democracies revolve around these series of events. however; by my guesses about 70% of xltronic users believe this stuff:
- we should leave the muslim world alone. - 9/11 attack provoked by bad stuff the west had done to muslims.
- israel is the real bad guy. - what's iraq got to do with terrorism? - i think we'll just make more terrorists - in a way arent we the terrorists?
this way of thinking is a result of a liberal open minded society attempting to be fair. i dont blame us for trying to be nice instead of flying the anti terrorism flag in defense of our less than perfect culture, but it's not the 00s anymore and i thought we'd get smarter.
