Why are you threatened by girs?

I notice that so-called fanbois, and IDM-nerds of course as

well as general weenies everywhere are afraid of responsible

girl contact and I don't know why.

Why are you afraid? Have you been shagged?

Probably because this sounds like a jaw-droppingly
accurate description of how you choose to portray yourself.

i used to be reallllllly scared of women and had very little
romantic success. Then i discovered that the only way i
could only get any kind of satisfying
relationship/connection with one was just to be totally
honest. seems to be working!

still though, with very attractive women i still get weird
and self-conscious.

also, some women don't seem to want to be honest so much, so
i guess being honest with them doesn't work so much?

I think the best line of it is this,
"Your life is not a character arc in which the Love
Interest is obligated to appear at some point -- it is a
horribly free-form escalator ride to the grave, and it's up
to you to make the most of it by shaping yourself into the
kind of person that the kind of person you're attracted
to would plausibly find attractive.
"

I think that the bit I bolded makes this even better than
the objectivist stance on love which is that instead of
asking "Why doesn't anyone love me?", that you should ask,
"Am I deserving of love? If I am not and want to be loved,
what can I do to change that?"

The reason being is that no one is universally attractive.
As hard as it might seem to imagine, not all women like Brad
Pitt. Like anything (music, being a good example) there is
undeniably a common "popular taste", that most people who
aren't heavily autistic or deliberately contrary can agree
to recognise, even if that ideal isn't to personal taste.
For this reason, when in a newspaper article describes the
missing girl as, "a popular and attractive blonde", most
people tend to think of this, as opposed to
this.

If you just want "girls" to like you, by all means take PUA
classes, hit the gym and move into banking. If you want a
particular type of girl to like you, think about what "that
type of girl" wants. Growing bad facial hair, cultivating an
awkward manner and being a penniless busker will get you a
lot further with some women than being an alpha male ever
would. You just need to decide what sort of objective you
want to work towards.

NB: Do not be too specific about the type of girl you want
though, or else you run the risk of falling into precisely
the sort of expectation that the article warns about.

thinking about it now, i think i might be most scared of
women who don't have much of a desire for honesty

Absolutely right...honesty is definitely the best policy,
particluarly when it comes to girs...and even girls.

For example telling her that, if she screams, you will choke
her until she's nothing more than a warm peice of non-living
meat is so much better than saying nothing and then having
to choke her until she's a peice of non-living meat because
she screams.

It may be less fun but it feels fairer because you have been
a 'new man' and given her the choice and, ultimately,
choices are what life is all about.

I have successfully shaped myself into the kind of person
that the kind of person I´m attracted to finds attractive.
That person being a woman who loves the cock.

Coheed, why the use of 'girls' instead of 'women'?
What does that say about you, or more boradly the people who
are well into adulthood and still call women 'girls'.
Nothing personal. I'm doing this paper and i'm just
interested to grab an opinion whenever i can.

Because they don't become 'women' until they're 16?

You seem to be confusing me with somebody who isn't me. I
never have been morbidly overweight, I am kind, gentle and
robust 6'4" sociopath.

Shit, man. I just recorded lyrics to this song I had to
sing to myself for 20+minutes so I wouldn't forget the
melody... and the main theme is "cute girls on bicycles".
"Cute women on bicycles" just makes me think of tired 40+
year olds who've been through life, experienced child birth,
and have kicked some ass. I guess "girls" sounds more
dreamy.

Okay, I just sung it in my head right now with "cute women
on bicycles" and the juxtaposition of "cute" and "women"
emphasizes the cuteness a bit, so I might use it.

Thanks xlt. XLT- helping lyrics since 1947.
