"Never Even" was maybe the best track I heard last year. I've seen a couple live shows and installations, but it's hard to keep up with everything he does, and the dvd has a lot of stuff I hadn't seen yet. The lighting and low-res camera work add to the vibe. There's a bit in "Play Meccano Play" about 9 1/2 minutes in that is really outstanding. But it's all good, and refreshing to see Rephlex do a video release. Well fucking done, and thank you! |
