I was unemployed for a long time then just found the
perfect job.
So I'm living in Switzerland and over there the offer for
all in one : TV-Telephone-Internet... is pretty low so I aqm
working for the society named Swisscom that owned the line
for the past 20 years. And my job is to sell the products
mostly the swisscom tv products to people comming in the
stores... And I am a good seller mind you so as an exemple
yesterday I made 3 sales and today I just went to work
knowing I will only watch TV and mess with the customers
hahahah.

So what's your job how can it be better than mine ???

I work in mining exploration up in Arctic Canada. I win :P

Damn hard to get booze when I'm up there though which is
quite a bummer

if you fly on the scheds up from Winnipeg up over Hudson Bay
to deepest darkest Nunavut, you see (alongside all the
whales, which is cool) little boats absolutely booting it up
the shore of the bay - they're smuggling beer up from
Churchill into the Inuit towns. When I get bored of this
mining lark, I'll try me some Arctic bootlegging!

Switzerland is pretty wicked though - you from there or just
live there? I know a geologist from Zuhrich up here actually
- most Germanic guy I've ever met, he even does fencing.
Love it

I'm an energy healer and graphic designer.

nao-1~3.jpg

I do freelance graphic work for ads, logos, cards, webpages,
etc. I work in an office doing graphic work, as well, p a l
m g a r d e n s e g y p t dawt comz (I did zeir page, btw),
~5hrs a day, 4 days a week.

I have a lot of free time, and my work hours are flexible, I
can take time off if I need to, etc. I have more free time
than I spend work time. Next year I'm opening an art
gallery and lounge.

Yay.

i climb and cut trees its fun and keeps me healthy and
suitably close to a fatal accident everyday, but i'm
currently unemployed, with enough saved to pay my rent for a
cpl months, in a country with a socialist government, so the
future aint looking too bad. my work is sweet, when i go
back, but the hours are not. one day i will be a free-lancer
or have a 3 day a week contract.

boot leggin booze to eskimos sounds good, do they have bare
coin or do they pay in fish and canoes?

i work at a car wash, washing cars. during the summer it was
8-9 hour days 5-6 days a week. now that it is getting closer
to winter, i get anywhere between 2-7 hours a day 3-5 days a
week. i'm one of two white dudes, there's one black dude,
and the rest are all mexican. it sucks, but it's easy. i
think i lose at this thread.

i do online customer support by day at a very
silicon-valley-ey internet company, so we have super
flexible hours (can work any time of day so long as we work
for 8 hours), i can take any time off i need, we have a
fully open snack kitchen and pizza/indian/mexican is food
fed to us every friday, it's a 5 minute bus ride from my
house, and my coworkers are rad.

by night i run event lighting for festivals and raves and
shit so i get to go to shows for free, be creative in my
work and network with cool people in the "industry/scene,"
have the satisfaction of putting on events, and eat all the
acid and smoke all the ganja and drink all the beer i want
while im getting paid.

currently i am totally satisfied with where i am, work-wise.
i just need to ask for a raise at my day-job, but im kind of
waiting on my supervisor first since we're currently at the
same pay grade. that and i could use something where im not
sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a day, my belly
is getting kind of big.

Sounds bitchin'. An old boss of mine who really liked that
style of working used to always comment, "Wow, this is like
working at an IT company" whenever we went to sites like
that. His joke being, we worked at a massive IT company, but
it was nothing like most modern, American style IT
companies.

They do have coin but most of it is government benefits so
it's actually your money originally lol. I was given some
muskox horns one time by a guy I'd befriended, and offered
whale meat before - if you bought them booze they could
probably give you some random animal blubber/fur in return

I want to turn the muskox horns into drinking horns, fuck
yes!
