heya dudestuffs. i think you just have to make something good. but if you really want a lot of hits play around with google for a few weeks and find out what everyone is into then use a little foresight to detect whats next and exploit it. |

I have just one tip that can kick start the advertising, make some flash adverts for the site, then pay about £200 to a promotional company that will generate millions of hits and likes on youtube |

i dont like flash and we dont have 200£ to pay for them to make them. all the sites that get famous get ppl on them cuz a techonological magazine or other famous web site/blog writes a paper about them i think (at least all the famous web sites i went to in 2012) and all those papers always mention the new site got inventors to give them $100 million $$$ is getting ppl to give u money what makes your site famous not how u use the money? it sounds to me like a paradox yess russeldust our site is top secret till we think of the plan to make it famous |

being famous when it starts gets you nowhere. look at google+, wave, ping... endeavors with tons of money behind them that are floundering because of a shitty product. if you need users, put it out there. tell your friends, talk to bloggers, tweet the fuck out of it. the user base will grow. advertisiting on the web means jack shit - word of mouth drives every thing. if you don't realize that yet, i don't know what business you have running a website in the first place. |

i think it works if you just call it famous, like so: "On March 10, 1975, Amos took the advice of some friends and opened a cookie store in Los Angeles, California, naming it "Famous Amos". In the first year he sold $300,000 worth of cookies, followed by more than $1,000,000 in sales in the store's second year of operation." Now switch dollars to hits and cookies to website with cookies. |

you need cash to get things started, otherwise you will run into problems and it will crash because you will lack the proper equipment to keep it stable while it grows. However, these days it's a lot easier because of cloud computing, but it still costs money. mark zuckerburg initially invested $1000 in the very beginning, and he needed cash injections all the way along, that meant borrowing money. All website businesses that are successful require bank loans or investments from another source. If you were lucky enough to get it growing quickly you would most likely end up getting an investment from another company, selling a percentage of the business. |

i sent stuff 2 blogs before they are wack- they dont do anything unless u pay them or u know the person its so corupts. when roger dancemores album "roger" came out (which i was the producer) in early this year i send it to pitchfork and antony tantanlo aka the needle drop to review for there web sites. obviously they did nothing this is different cuz its a web site but still blogs are wack |
