Revival of the XLT cinema experience.

it has been many years, We are now using Blu ray.
(impressive eh?)

VLC media player is needed to aid synchronicity as much as
we can.

please put forth your movie recommendations.

for those that do not know :

we all watch the same movie file and sync up to an atomic
clock, hitting play (so to pause release from 0 time) all at
the same time. We get drift, as every internal computer
clock vibrates at a different frequency (fraction of). But
generally if we use the same file and player it can work
very well indeed.

netflix had a feature for this until they decided to take it
away with that fucking metro xbox dashboard update at the
beginning of the year

Tom and Jerry will be playing for the walk in, and some
warner bros also.

How does it work? Do you sit at home by yourself and sort
of text people that you don't know, asking stupid questions
and texting compliments to each other?

Hee hee!

Freqy what are your top 5 movies at the moment? I'm aware of
the fact it's a ridiculous question. But as you read this
i'm curious to know what you would choose as your top 5.
Will you keep up your act and mention lovely, happy stuff?

The dark side of the freqy. Yes.

Irony is sad unless you have anything else to offer. Can
you offer anything sk8erbetty?. I haven't seen anything
from you.

Hmm... That looks a little bit like Napoleon Dynamite 2. Has
anybody seen this- Moon?
The lead sadly reminds me of Owen Wilson, but it does seem
to be aesthetically nice at times

Sam Rockwell shits on Owen Wilson from the moon.

Great, wonderful film.

I used to do a similar thing with some buddies on
synchtube.

This won't have the quality you desire, but it works
alright, and integrated chat helps.

i think you need an IRC channel or something to sync up a
video viewing. would make more sense to make monday FILM
DISCUSSION DAY. one film a week, watch it over the weekend
sooner if you have the time. pile into work on monday and
type it up during your lunchbreak

p.s. netflix on xbox USED TO have this feature. the metro
dashboard update at the beginning this year removed it,
however -- as I was using it! fuckers
