Somebody post in this when they get the leak!!!
I'm excited for this even though Merriweather was boring
hipster garbage. The guitarist is back. Still seems to be
electronic heavy but I think it'll be more complete

I'm very fond of their work from Sung Tongs-Merriweather
Post Pavilion (except for Also Frightened, No More Running,
and Lion in a Coma).

I didn't care for Fall Be Kind.

It seems largely tuneless to me. I'm not a musicologist, but
the melodies on most tracks seem to go nowhere.

The sound design is really uninspired.

The production is boring, muddy AND tinny, it seems the
vocals and live drums (especially cymbals) are way too high
in the mix. Sounds like the samples are layered onto the
songs so densely to cover up gaps in the music and
supplement weak melodies.

Avey's vocals sound very much the same.

Panda Bear's two tracks aren't enough to save it. New Town
Burnout (I forget the name) is too long. Pulleys has a
melody way back in the mix, but it seems monotonous.

Overall, I think there are maybe 6 nonconsecutive minutes of
interesting music on this album.

Please tell me what you like about this.

(If it helps, something about Centipede Hz reminds me of The
Process by Skinny Puppy--another shit album)

few bands have so consistently declined in quality with
every release. 'here comes the indian' was an absolute
masterpiece, but then with every subsequent effort i'm less
and less enthused.

i have a hard time telling if anything's actually in there,
or if it's all just nonsense with a good street team or
twitstream or whatever
