drax 2 is indicative of the sound of the latter half of the album (more grimey), whereas the first half is more melodic... if he dropped unreal square, it would flow really nicely i think. |

I had my hopes up this would going to be squarepusher back in form. But it's more like Hello Everything meets Skrillex and Armin van Buuren in a studio and they're playing Battleship with the knobs in the mixing table. |

im afraid that album is gonna be shit, to me... the two tracks already 'released' are ok but nothing special, a bit repetitive and nonsensely efectist... ive got the feeling that this is an album made just to impress the yongster, pure shinny lights like the 'live' show, but that theres nothing else beyond those twisted synths... i expect something better from the pusher, better beats, better melodies i really hope im wrong... |

anyway the album is much better than seb or shobaleader (at least for me), there is funny ceephax, its pretty melodic and has meat times with metallurgist, nice idm with drax etc... too bad ep sucked a hairy banana... |
