Having thoroughly enjoyed doing a recent remix for Melack,
I thought I would like to do a bit more. Rather than a
normal remix though, I thought it'd be fun to do a
mash-up/remix of original, unknown sounds into a new
cohesive track.

If any of your loops have rhythmic elements, be aware 120bpm
will be the final tempo. I will quite happily chop/stretch
anything that doesn't fit or distort it so heavily that it
can be used in some way though so don't worry too much if
you deviate from this.

I'd like the samples used for this to be original, or at
least very little known; no sending me your favourite cut
up of an Amen break for example. :)

Any genre/sound will be considered and there is no limit on
how many/few samples you can submit.

Please send links to where your files are hosted to the
address in my profile if you'd like to participate, along
with the artist name you'd like to be credited as. The
output will not be sold/licenced in any way, although it
will be made available to all participants and possibly the
wider internet community. Cheers, Ceri.

"too lazy to finish your tracks,
let's others do the job for you!"

multimix,
where several lazyness combined
become one full musician.

Then Multimix needs you. Donate those unused loops that are
clogging up your wardrobe and help raise money for starving
kittens*.

*raising money for starving kittens are donating loops are
two discrete activities that I am advising you to do.
Donating loops does not raise money for starving kittens.

Melack: It's like an IDM version of Voltron. In fact,
fuck it, that can be the video to the teaser trailer.

here is a (mostly kick) drum loop. i couldnt
decide if i liked some metal sounds on the background, so i
make it doble long for you to chose with or without metal.
cut at 8.00 to split the two parts.

in fact, this is not a multimix thing, after all, more a
multimusician thing mixed by ceri :)

anyway, here is same loop as before but without
the destructive kick, so that you can better mix it with
more elements and create bigger space.

This'd be better. You know, if you don't want the person to
clock it and not click it.
