Every once in a while a release comes along that competely
blows me away. The closer I listen to this, the more I have
a hard time understanding how it’s possible that it even
exists.

Some of the best electro (or music) I’ve ever heard. Ten
tracks, NO filler (not one second!), full of emotion,
created with outstanding musicianship and a total mastery of
synths and drum machines. Extraordinary audio quality, you
have to hear the mix to believe it. Do yourself a favor and
listen on a good setup. I envy those of you who have
subwoofers in your car. :)

Collectors and fans of electronic music, you would be smart
to pick up a hard copy before they disappear. Truly
mind-blowing.

Thank you for releasing this, 100% appreciation and respect
over here. Hope you are well.

If someone puts a good FLAC rip online, I'll paypal rephlex
15 euros. Seriously. I'm not interested in all the cassette
crap.

O, nevermind. Paying rephlex for doing crap like this only
encourages them to do more of the same. Crapmas!

These are possibly home taped (write protect tabs manually
punched out), not on Rephlex though they might have assisted
with a thing or two

No two tapes sound exactly the same, maybe that and other
things can be important in terms of listening experience...

Anyone feel like talking about the music?? Synth enthusiasts
etc want to weigh in?

The tape is sick, amazing understated release! I love tapes,
they are so budget. The lack of bandwidth adds that little
something.

sounds like post-drexciyan stuff to me, definitely not
something drexciya or their side projects would put out
around 1997. way too informed by newer stuff/styles.

Everything I've read about this release is sticking with
that its a reissue of an earlier release, which if that's
true, that's friggan crazy, I am looking forward to hearing
the full 10 track release

Well clone, rephlex and boomkat has all said it, so until I
hear a different rumor what else can I believe? Clone has
even come out and said, that it has been repressed and does
the original justice, so until I hear that this is directly
the output of someone else or at least brand new music, I am
not sure I can disbelieve it.

Those are all copy-pastes from some sort of press release
originating from Rephlex headquarters. Or rather, the
Rephlex propaganda machine.

Cosmic electro futurism from Photodementia, the devious
offspring of Canadian, Victor Beaudet, one-time collaborator
with Richard Davis of Cybertron, and American, Bernard
Davies. Evoking comparisons with the legendary production
projects of the then emerging Drexciya and Dopplereffekt, as
well as Kraftwerk and AFX, 'Figure 3' is mind-altering
material, ear worming electro dynamism that realigns the
elements of the brain like a true listening experience
should. Now graciously resurrected and resissued.

this is the clone blurb... its worded differently from the
boomkat/other sources - i am not saying its anyone well
known until it comes out that it is - if its someone it will
come out.

It's worded exactly like the Steinvord PR, it's all bs.

the youtube previews are totally amazing, i would like to
see a cd/digital however but its sound quality is just
amazing though i am sure it will sound the best on vinyl.
maybe rephlex will reissue digitally if they ever update
their site.

also , the video is amazing too, goes totally with the music

i think it actually sounds best on tape.

most shops and distributors DEMAND sales notes/press
release, even if there is nothing to say. the label has to
write what it can to save someone making something up.

These cassettes are type I ferrics, curious about the
formulation based on the levels I'm getting. Nice analog
warmth, harmonics and bass response from the right kind of
tape, and this is done right. Also the music happens to fit
exactly on both sides of a c30. Anyone who has mastered for
cassette knows that's not usually a coincidence.

Decent tape decks can be picked up for very little money
these days, no reason to wait.
