because you are buying goods that reside in the UK, from a business that is UK based. Just because you happen to live in the US does not mean you are exempt from the taxation. i was under the impression the tax was only applied if you lived in the UK (or shipping to uk) - not applied wrt explorts. ive never seen the vat outlined on my invoice on any other uk purchase. thanks for the remarks, oscillik. now i known. |
