Breaking Bad

I love this programme, one of the best things in television
to come out of the US in a long time, for me anyways. The
new season is really taking off very nicely, have heard
Fever Ray used in a bit of the soundtrack (Ep 2 or 3), some
dark Aphex would be nice for tense claustrophobic scenes
breakcore stuff to accompany Jesses party scenes, so whats
gonna become of Jesse now.

No certain what they're doing with Jesse, that's whats so
great. Probably moving him into some safe place to test him.
S4 was a bit slow to start but now it's moving full speed.

Love it, my favorite thing currently airing on TV since Lost
ended. Last sunday's episode was exceptionally crafted.

As far as Jesse goes, i think it would be cool if that was
the last time we ever saw him. "You gonna ask where we're
going?" "nope." Nothing more needs to be said really.

I didn't watch the preview for next week so i have no idea
if he's in the next ep or not. Don't say. In fact-- I'd be
safer just not checking this thread again till I watch this
sunday's ep.

I don't think they are going to kill Jesse. At least not
yet
. If they were, they would've just done it. Mike and
Gus are ice cold killers. They wouldn't make a big deal out
of driving Jesse to some remote location just to kill him.
They would just do it then drive his body to where ever.

I think they are going to try one last time to get through
to him and they will let him know it's his last chance.
Maybe they are driving him to where they have one or more of
his loved ones stashed, and tell him if he doesn't get with
the program, they are dead. Maybe his ex-girlfriend with the
kid who he gave money to? Maybe his parents? Maybe Walt's
family? Maybe Skinny Pete and Badger?

Or maybe they are going to play him against Walt to drive a
wedge between the two.

I don't know, we'll find out tomorrow night.

Excellent episode, so they were really testing him, maybe
Jesse will take Mike's place in the whole hierarchy, Mike
seemed a little concerned at the end.

Yes that's a good point, he talked about having a partner
but no longer has one now, I thought the new black dude was
the replacement but maybe he's just there to watch. You
never know what Gus is really up to.

Btw, I don't know why I found Walt taking a sniff at the
whine cork so damn funny lol.

offline steve from chicago on 2011-08-16 03:58 [#02419372]

They're obviously just manipulating them both right now. The
goal has to be to separate Walt and Jesse permanently
without killing Jesse. Or they could be setting it up so
that Walt is the one who kills Jesse. Jesse has no future
with Gus. Gus never liked him and will never trust a junkie.
Mike seems to have taken a liking to Jesse and he might end
up saving Jesse later in return for Jesse saving him (even
though it was staged).

Not sure I agree that Gus is trying to "separate Walt and
Jesse." Right now he needs Walt, and Walt, out of guilt,
will only work with Jesse. I see no purpose in turning them
against one another (yet).

Gus's move was actually pretty genius... He managed to
simply make Jesse feel like a person of worth again. I'm
sure that act will end all the junkie shenanigans that have
been going on at Jesse's house, which was of course Gus's
sole intention. Gus managed to solve the problem without
killing Jesse and therefore antagonizing Walt further. Very
smooth. End of last weeks ep, I really thought Jesse was a
goner. Can't wait for next week.

Yep enjoying this season big time, glad to have it back. Im
amazed at the lack of interest shown by British and Irish TV
stations to procure this.

Not in my country, we have a channel that airs most if not
all of AMC's shows. I think it was Fox Channel that aired
Walking Dead here though, and they subtitled the episodes in
2 days after airing in the US.

thank fuck for the interwebz as, as it is, season 3 is still
to be picked up by uk tv, and will likely never see it, or
dvd/blu ray release.

fear not though, gary - tank commander and TOWIE are both
available. plus the inbetweeners have done a film!

Enjoyed the last episode a lot, some nice humor. The way
Walt caught up with Gus plan was nicely done, "Register
this!" quality TV right there haha.

*spoilers*

Was it not for Hank, and the fact Walt wants to kill Gus, i
think Fring would have stuck with Walt. He's been following
him for long, admired (admires) the man but later obviously
knew Walt was trying to get Jesse to kill him. Hence Gus
then being brilliant (as he can be) and focusing on getting
Jesse back on track, testing his loyalty and ultimately
getting him to kill Walt without even asking him.

Bringing him across the border was great. What a scene that
was.

The last episode of season 4 was on Sunday in the states.
Will be watching it tonight. I can't wait. And i know the
wait for the ultimate season (5) will be long.

I have to say Walt was always my favourite character but Gus
has been just amazing. Both actors, in fact all the actors
are tremendous.

That was quite a ride. It's interesting how many people
question the script. I my opinion it all makes sense. And
with the final season i think any other questions will be
answered. Awesome,i have to say.

That would be awesome. I've tried downloading from
rapidshare, filefactory etc. but the downloads are throttled
at about 5kb/s and get reset after 5 minutes or so so I
don't know if that would work? As a comparison when I
download something legally over say Steam, for example, I
get 10mb/s.

my e-mail is inconsequential[dot]music[at]gmail[dot]com

I have the first episode so need 2 and 3.
