any of you guys buy MP3 releases? for example on iTunes.

I have bought about 60 releases on iTunes.
Still feels a bit weird to pay for mp3 though.

And what other shops do you buy stuff from?
the easy thing with itunes is that it comes directly in the
player but they don't always have all the stuff I'm
searching for.

discuss

only ever bought mp3 once cause monolith didnt release
that e.p. any other way:/
apart from that its all mainly vinyl and sometimes cd,
cause i love it this way. it looks, sounds and smells
better, and since its physical it has a certain value.

however i think high quality wavs are tasty aswell and
artists that are rather unkown can make a decent cut more
easily and since i play most of my music via the pc due to
its convenience, i considered buying some HQ digital, but
havent done so far and i dont want physical to go extinct.

I only buy cd's & vinyl. Can't see the point of buying
mp3/flacs. I buy off discogs, amazon, ebay (new & 2nd hand)
plus www.normanrecords.com

bleep, boomkat, rephlex..

bandcamp is cool because of little exclusive releases i.e.
recent aleksi perala stuff

but also because you can preview the whole album usually.

CDs
but starting to wonder
download (cevin key from skinny puppy) is selling
exclusively on digital download now I was disaapointed to
find out that if I ordered the new release on CD they will
just be burnt off CDRs :(
just not worth it is it?

Yes depending on what you are playing and how loud. If your
speakers are half decent.
