I went to the store hoping to find new Aphex Twin and what
did I see? A whole slew of what I thought to be very rare
cds (correct me if Im wrong):

Classics
Analogue Bubblebath
Analogue Bubblebath 4

Im much happy! :)

Classics is pretty hard to find where I am.
And so are any of the Analogue Bubblebaths.

abb4 is being sold for 4$ at forcedexposure.com.

010101: A & B sound man!! :) We just got them awhile ago.
I was going to HMV forever before. But Im finding I see
more rare stuff at A&B than at HMV. I'll go to HMV cause I
like to support them and I know the staff better. Im
starting to go to both stores :)

I want to find bubblebath 2 and 3 now. There is so much
more to get. I wish I still had cds to get from Autechre :(
But I have all I can get.

I paid roughly $18 for each bubblebath at A&B Sound. $20
something for Classics.

what do you think of abb and abb4? worth the money? i
should start tracking down old aphex stuff.

I actually gasped out loud once I saw them. There was a guy
standing next to me and he must have thought I lost it or
something lol. Poor guy.

Oh and something else. I was at the listening booth and a
guy was talking to another guy who was in charge of the
booth about electronica. He's like 'I don't know whats
good..you know...something with bass'. He didn't know where
start in electronica. He's new from what I hear. I would
have liked to step in and ramble off...but that guy might
just run away lol.

just the analogue bubblebath (no #). abb is being sold at
cdnow for 10,50$. it's funny, i also was under the
impression that those releases were hard to find.

You sure can't find any abbs at HMV. Only thing those guys
carry around here is Come to daddy, RDJ Album and Drukqs.

What would everyone consider a 'rare' aphex twin cd?

010101: Id love to go to virgin. I phoned them up once and
asked if they had any Gescom vinyl. He was like 'what'. I
was like 'Autechre stuff'. Then I found out you can get
Gescom here :(

Im hyper as you can tell from my new bounty!

an unheard Ae cd...but I will know again shortly thanks to
this untitled EP coming soon.

of their easily obtainable albums... so move here!

I don't think there are that many non-promotional rare cds.
There's Power-Pill, I suppose.

going just to buy music one day. But that's when I can
afford it. I would be the dream vacation...coming home with
boxes of records / cds :)

Don't waste your time and money on ab2, it really isn't very
good

Cortex: What about Bradley's Beat, Powerpill Pakman, GAK,
and the universal indicators, those are pretty rare

yeah...its always great finding something you previously
thought was rare...
i remember the time i went to newbury comics..and found
saw1, donkey rhubarb, both on cds, singles collection, ab1,
classics, etc....that was the first time i had seen most of
those...i nearly peed myself...
funny how once you find these 'rare' cds...you see them
everywhere once you buy them.
i actually see ab1 and the classics quite often...i've never
seen ab4 in a store though...its one of the few releases i
dont have..

bradley's beat is rephlex's first release..
its rdj under one of his aliases, bradley strider...which is
supposedly someone else's real name...adding much confusion
there was also bradley's robot...which i guess isnt as
rare...since they had it at warpmart until recently...

Actually. A&B sound used to carry at least 10 copies of AB4,
and had a copy of AB1 at least every second week. Altho that
was over a year ago... so I don't know now.
