If you TALK to somemone, do you have a certain GOAL in your mind? GOALS could be, to persuade the other person of your opinion. OR to find out more about the person itself. I find this interesting, cuz i am asking myself, if every communication has a 'goal'? |

according to dostoevsky dialogue *is* the goal. because only in dialogin with other persons you can be a person. and being a person is the meaning of life. if you can realize your personhood you are in fact in *heaven*. if you don't do so, you are isolated and thus not only metaphorically, but factually in hell. the twist is .. once you take dostoevsky seriously no educated person in the western world takes *you* seriously anymore and you are in hell, again. |
