i was wondering if the webmasters made any $ from the site.
I wouldn't have anything against it (i'm more than happy to
support them), i'm just curious since i dont see any banners
or the likes...

How are they gonna manage that?...

I don't see any adverts or subscriptions...

Think phob & the cru do it out of love (& perhaps the
occasional WARP promo..;) )......major respect due....

I like this site a lot or something and junk. If everyone
was required to make a donation of 1$ before they registered
their user name, he'd have like 500 bucks or something,
which could purchase something like a donkey I bet.

A donkey? Maybe like a half assed one!
ha.. get it?

This is a work of love obviously. Slightly perverted, but
love nonetheless.

perfect sense.

You see... A Donkey is also known as an ASS, but I said he
couldn buy a whole donkey, just a half assed one {as in a
crappy one... is what half assed means}

This site costs the Webmaster(Phobiazero) money out of his
own pocket. Thats why you don't see any banners. =)

And if there were a way, i would love to somehow contribute
to keeping this site up and running forever without
banners!!
He deserves our support for creating such a wonderful
community!! =0)

*hopes he gets lots o goodies from the record company*

Yes, yes, I thought so. Hmm, a lame joke, you are right, but
not bad for 9 in the morning (but in Canada it's midnight?)

Yeah, Phob is to be really respected for spending his own
cash so that we can have our dumb little conversations.

RESPECT!!!

there was a discussion about donating money a month ago but
i havent heard anything about it since then.

yes.....i think perhaps that discussion should be revived.
i'm sure a small donation from each regular user would be
appreciated and probably welcomed.

IMO - it's always hard to ask for money, but realistically i
imagine it's expensive to keep a site going month to month
and without banners or other ways of getting funds back.

Phobiazero mentioned today it is a labor of love, and thats
says a lot about his committment to this site as well as the
other sites he runs. he deserves our respect surely, but a
few dollars....or euro's i'm sure would go a long way to
showing our appreciation. i know i could go without eating
at McDonalds (kidding i never eat there but you get the
point) a few less times a week and donating those few extra
bills to him! =0)

*gets off soapbox*

Now that I have a ridiculously big salary, I wouldn't have
problems paying, but, apart from the obvious obstacles ( i
don't have a credit card, as much as it comes a surprise to
you western people), i have a ideological problem with this.
I respect PHOBIAZERO for doing this in a way he does. Once
we are asked to pay, I'm out. I don't want this to turn into
trade, how ever free-will based it may be. I'd rather burn
and send some discs to him than give him money.

i think it's only fair.

Perhaps Phobia should institute a donation service like I'm
doing on WATMM. Not mandatory, but you contribute what you
think the site is worth.

yeah, from what i learned about him in about a month,
phobiazero seems like a really nice guy. doing all of this
and paying for it and we are all beneficiating (is that a
word?) from it.
