I would have bought this but Bryan Ferry's got a new album
out next month so that's this year's leisure noise fund
spent I'm afraid.

the two tracks are mixed in realtime. i used an eight stereo
channel software mixer in maxmsp. the samples were created
using the following software synths/modules :
metasynth, absynth, reason, and praat. what i think of the
tracks is bias, offcourse to me they sound good. but i'd
appreciate a review from someone familiar with the genre.

Now you mention it I can certainly hear the praat in it.

praat is actually an open source program made in the 90s by
some university in netherlands to emulate the human voice,
it allows you to build a person's voice based on parameters
like the sex, size of lungs, teeth size, ect.. the program
was developed to help with physical therapy of speech
impaired individuals. some people know that it was used
throughout the afx druqgs album. but i see how some
little kid might get a good laugh out of the name's
translation in english slang. hope you had a good chuckle
over it, and that you didn't piss your diaper kid

I can see how these tracks might stimulate speech impaired
individuals to suddenly find the ability to vocalise their
annoyance at what fucking shit's been hawked at them.

An EP (Extended Play) is generally accepted as something
inbetween a 2 track single and an lp, maybe slightly less
than a mini-lp. 4 tracks, 20 -25 mins. What you're pushing
are TWO MP3s.

i don't get much time to go online. i'm not really mad at
these guys, i feel disappointed in how lil thought people
are willing to use. mostly everyone dosen't care about
theyre remarks here. seems like they just focus way too much
on themselves and don't realize the real world is passing by
them

you still don't understand what an ep is son. And the fact
that you looked it up and posted it confirms your own
insecurity in what you thought you knew.

i could easily google "how to fuck a three legged pig" and
get an image of your mother. but that doesn't make me a
farmer.

the fact is some people seen me perform, they proposed to
release two tracks as and ep you theyre labels for me. i
accecpted and moved on with my life. meanwhile you are just
a troollling nobody who does nothing but hang out online
cause you have no real life or selfworth

I know what a fucking EP is without looking it up. I've got
enough of them. I don't listlessly rifle through my 7"
singles and cassingles and shuffle up to my carer pleading
"Which of these are EPs? Is it all of them? And this one
sided promo... is it an EP like the IDM people do? An mp3
ep, is it?"

Fuck me. The last time I went I out I went to a party and
this git spoiled the atmos

Well... I think the tracks are almost pretty
good/interesting. If the tracks had lead melodies going
over them, the sounds would be nice, but at the current
state, it doesn't take the listener very far, cuz it just
sits.

Like Remote Antiquity is almost a tropical post-Summer chill
track, but it really needs a lead melody+ to make that
happen.

Music interest is much like chord theory, in that most
people's brains get tied up with more than 3 notes, so the
perception of interest in 3+ harmonizing notes is
significantly more than the interest perceived from a single
note, even though the chords might still be emphasizing
specific notes. In that sense, a simple rock band setup is
good to keep in mind: drums, rhythm guitar, bass guitar,
lead guitar, vocals. That's essentially the minimum that's
needed for the brain to perceive a high level of interest,
with simplistic music.

So in electronic music- especially without vocals- there
needs to be ze beatz, bassline, lead melody,
harmonizing/rhythm-supporting shitz, and then some other
shitz, or it really just turns out boring. Electronic music
that doesn't have all the shitz, usually balance the
interest by having extremely interesting melodies or
rhythmic beats, etc.

Surrender and post-Surrender Chemical Brothers are a good
example of high interest without actually saying shit. If
you study Surrender and the releases that followed, you'll
realize that they're executing relatively simplistic dance
music concepts, but they add a high level of thematic
interest by making like 5 things go on at once, even if it
"does't make any sense". They add texture, ambience, and a
certain cinematic quality to otherwise bland tracks, which
results in something quite good.

It's possible to overwork tracks until they're shit, but
with most electronic artists, I think they're hearing much
more in their tracks than others hear. And so the solution
to that is to emphasize what it is you hear in your tracks,
to make others hear it also. And chord/band theory
