Not really, but wouldn't that be cool to have Sean Booth
and Rob Brown do an album/soundtrack to some cutting edge
cult movie? Their tracks always make me picture movie-like
scenes in my head, anyway.

I really like Clint Mansell. He does awesome soundtracks.

Yeah, Vletmrx21 especially... conjures up so many cool
images in my head, different every time, too. Would fit into
all kinds of movie scenes.

AE are def the most visual band I know...I just very
definite images with them; it's kinda architechural really I
guess, the way the structure & sound combine...

They're almost hallunicegenic...;)..

How cool is the AE DVD gonna be?...

Bound to be some decent visuals on that...

Shouldn't be long now...good to have something to look
forward to...

I guess you don't even NEED a film with those guys, you just
need to sit back with an album and you'll come up with your
OWN movie in your head.

their live show certainly lacked visual stimulation
though..
just lots of fog and the soft glowing apples of their
laptops.

I'm a real sucker for the additional stuff on a
DVD....especially the different voiceovers from Director
etc...PI's cool for that...DA's track really filled in a lot
of gaps & you'd never find that sort of info anywhere...

Final Fantasy is another one; an ok/cool(ish) movie but with
all the stuff on the DVD, it turns into a brilliant
HowWeMadeThisMovie documentary....smooth if you really like
getting deep into a movie...

And picture & sound quality is sharp whatever...VHS looks
shite after Digital...

I love Clint Mansell and Pop Will Eat Itself. I think
Autechre would be great scoring a film--particularly
something by Mark Osborne.

Hell yeah. DVD is the shit. I refuse to look at VHS now,
unless it's absolutely necessary. I love directors
commentaries (especially darren aronofsky, he has a lot of
interesting stuff to say).

How much do they go for in the US?...I've seen kinda bargain
one's here going for £99 so it's bound to be around $99 or
less, I guess...

Tho i guess it worth spending a bit more to get a decent
one...

We've got one on one of the computers and the pic & sound on
there are razor sharp...but it would be better to have on
the TV as well as it's not always on to watch stuff on the
PC; TVs seem a bit more social...

Anyone know what a PS2 DVD is like?...any problems..
