Audio Previews
Official Video

Sounds like it will be one of Ceephax best albums to date.

Sound clips now up and judged. This doesn't sound very good
to me. For being "hardcore acid" it is very soft. Lo-fi hard
works (Unit Moebius!), lo-fi mellow doesn't. I miss the
Ceephax Acid Crew Ceephax Acid Crew. Foremost I lack the
madenning live energy, album craze is artificial. Will
probably buy this anyway, as I'm stuck in collecting him.

Ceeland is a neatly amusing bagatelle. One side contains his
first frentic try-outs. And you have to love the format.

Ceephax is clearly not the "next thing in music", as Aphex
once declared. But what is?

I like his past works a lot specially: ceephax acid crew
(2003), acid quackers (2000) and exidy tours (2003),
basically he wasn't using the TR x0x drum-machines to the
same extent that he is using now, I believe he was using an
old sampler like his brother for most of the drums and other
layered sounds.

United Acid Emirates just judging from the samples to me
sounds like his best album to date, was never a fan of Unit
Moebius or Beverly Hills 808303 to be honest, too harsh for
me.

Eurostar Acid is probably my favourite Ceephax release to
date.

He's got a funny mustage and he gave me his 'zwarte pieten'
cap. I gave it back at the end of the evening :-D

i've probably watched the music video ten times this week.
best video of '09 in my book.

can't wait for the album. judging by the samples, this could
be his breakthrough album in terms of songwriting and
quality. at least i hope so.

i never listen to ceephax; maybe if i did, i'd be sick of
his style and this release wouldn't have tided me over. I
can certainly say that I'd have enjoyed recent vibert
releases more if i hadn't injected 'sorry i make you lush'
into my veins.

But he makes something different every release, ranging from
boring to plain fun. You've never heard Exidy Tours have
you?

i also dislike that clean sound of the album. seeing him
live was just totally mindblowing. the sound of those 303's,
him screaming through a headphone and those minimal gabber
tracks.

I thought i was the only one who agreed the album sounds
very very clean and polished, but i don't dislike it

like Snares' tb303

It's a bit ironic isn't it? a ceephax album being
overproduced

thats more like universal indicator

ceephax is not a fool, theres a lot to be found in
non-western music scales

multicultural synthesis is the future, whatever that means

offline mohamed from the turtle business on 2010-02-04 10:26 [#02364380]

all i wanted to say is that if theres people that unites
things now, there could be someone in the future who have
the possibility to divide things again, into something
better. instead of hearing always the same stuff. talking
about a forwarding thinking scene. MUSIC AS LEADING FORCE OF
THE CULTURES

im just bored, but tis one cool idea that came into my mind
