finally managed to make a melody that caught my attention properly :) takes a little time to build up but hopefully the end is worth it :P |

i think if you took some time to invest your ideas with some good stuff to produce with, it would sound way better, like all that fake reverb makes everything sound like a Behringer new effect advertisement or something. I dont know if all you're using is ableton but, it really dulls down any impact you wanted to have on your melodiez |

hey thanks man for the critique.. im using the ableton built in reverb mostly, among with some delay, which creates the airy effect.. personally im not quite sure what you mean by 'fake reverb' but, its supposed to sound basic and kinda 80s.. |

cx, I say this as a friend and without having heard the new song: I think most people, myself included, would appreciate if, rather than posting individual spam threads, you were to keep the spamming to one 'cx's music' thread. partially for the sake of reducing clutter, and partly because I lose interest in a musician when I'm bombarded by them. :) |

I thought about that doing that before. The problem is once you get negative feedback for a track you don't want it to taint the new stuff you post, so for that reason I generally use a fresh thread. |

really good, I'm glad you got over the slump, sometimes it's difficult to become inspired, but to say that you don't ever want to write again...how could you be serious as an artist? The song is really nice, definitely feel the 80's influence. What are you using to write? I think this would go over well with my DJ friend, mind if I share it? |

I really liked that, could be a developed a bit more though. The filter resonance on the bass synth annoyed me a little, try tweaking that down a bit. |
