Need horror flims for halloween. I want some cheesy fun
(nightmare on elm street 3), some foreign stuff, and
something downright mind blowingly good. GO.
flims

A Tale of Two Sisters is not only the scariest movie I've ever seen
but one of the best. It will haunt you for months.

Quatermass and the Pit is one of the best Hammer horror films.
Intelligent plot, well put together, low budget but
effective special FX.

Hentry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is creepy and disturbing, probably not
something you want to watch as the last film of the night
unless you want to have trouble sleeping. Michael Rooker is
almost too good as Henry, very convincing. Has moments of
dark black humor too.

The Cube was just OK. First two Hellraiser flicks are A+.

been watching some fearnet on demand lately. some good ones
were maximum overdrive, 976-evil, village of the damned &
the thing. the hellraiser movies are good/funny,
particularly 1&2.

also arrgento stuff like suspiria .. and i think he did a
cut of the original dawn of the dead which i never saw.

Aw yeah, Suspiria is fantastic. Argento did something with
Dawn? You mean his own edit / cutting or he did some
filming?

the cube is ok.
hellraiser is awfully tacky and that's what it's special
for. i'm thinking of seeing 2 again. 3 is funny but the rest
are just straight up shit.

Alien

The new hills have eyes is actually great for a remake,
really graphic.

Chainsaw massacre 1 and the remake.

UHhhhhggggg I LOOOOVE horror movies, my dad used to rent
them for me when I was 5 and 6. I use to watch them all day
before I started going to school.

<3 horror movies

It looks great (very colourful, atmospheric), music is cool,
and it has the awesomest battle scene between a zombie and a
shark

OK i'll give rec a try. Am i right that the one advertised
recently is not the spanish original?

I hope you like tale of two sisters CX. You will have to
watch it twice to appreciate it. Everything looks so lush in
that film. If you like the korean stuff at all get bitter
sweet life (it's not horror tho).

Flims i forgot to mention i have:
The fog
Wilderness (hahahaha)
jeepers creepers
dark half
zombie flesh eaters (taped from tv)
henry
Three extremes 1 and 2 (the first one is good)
creep show 2 (i want creepshow 1!!!)
The fly
resident evil (good actually!)
Near dark
the thing
driller killer
the cube 1 2 (isn't really horror to me tho)
the eye 1 2 (i dld 2 in spanish with no subtitles...)
salems lot
maximum overdrive 2 (on tape somewhere)
alien 123 (more sci fi than straight forward horror)
beloved (faulty but really dark)
I HAD SAW BUT DESTROYED IT
Wolf creek (i think i taped over it) (bloody good)

Again i know i've seen/got plenty more around somewhere.

ANYONE GOT ANY TALES OF THE CRYPT STYLE HORROR TO
SUGGEST

Oh i also have the dark/black knight or whatever it's called
tales of the crypt film)

the silent hill movie wasn't too bad.

i don't think the Damien series has been mentioned. arguably
boring but definitly has its moments.

also, don't forget Fulci's followup 'City of the living
Dead'. There are plenty of Zombie movies (plenty I wish I
had taped from tv at the time) out there. Fulci stands out,
I think. I remember this is the last one I caught
on TV. Not the best, but there is something pleasing about
watching bad Zombie films, or bad horrors for that matter.
Like the acid rabies freakout that is 'I drink your blood',
although you'd be hard pressed to find any gratuitous blood
in the movie itself.
