i listen to alot of punk, some underground hip hop, alot of
louge/mellow downtempo jazzy electro stuff, indie rock,
funk, and i've really been getting into some 80s pop/electro
stuff lately too.

sorry, too lazy to name groups or artists though.

teapot, i actually just heard this band today called The
Philidephia Experiment, and it was some really good jazzy,
with sorta light dnb and electronic influences.
it was quite cool.

besides that there's always thievery corporation, jazzanova,
dj cam, 4hero, someitmes the hearbaliser or even portishead.

thoes are the first that came to mind.

drunken mastah: YOU SUCK!! heheh j/k man.

Outside of IDM... not a heck of a lot, anymore. For modern
artists, I only like Radiohead, Travis, the Strokes,
Coldplay, Tool, NIN, Sloan (AWESOME band from Halifax, best
pop rock in the world), Sigur Ros...

And a LOT of classic rock. Beatles, Kinks, Stones, Who,
Zeppelin, Sabbath, Dylan, Floyd, Barrett, list goes on and
on.

I like Captain Beefheart... and the Residents, who are
sometimes placed into the same category as the Captain, but
are really nothing alike - I recommend "Duck Stab" by the
Residents.
