yeah it's true. he's been at it for a long time now. the

i think i may have seen some of it. wen he was up 4 a brit,
on the show they showed a clip of a afx237 v7 video.

it had a metal face (like the 1 on 'music for the jilted
generation' cover), and its eyes were flickering to the
juddering voice at the beginning of the song.

maybe that was it.......

no i read an interview with cunningham which was taken
during a shooting session, and he was still wearing this
elephant like head mask and an ENORMOUS dick. not his own, i
presume :)

it looked pretty cool

The one on the Brits is the Druqks advert, which uses the
intro of Afx237

The big dick thing I think is Flex, Cunningham's film

video.... i dunno

i think chris cunningham is a better candidate than hype
williams for a dvd compilation of videos. btw, from what
joyrex said the afxv237 v7 video (aka drukqs promo clip) was
finished long ago and isn't being released for whatever
reason. i never thought that cunningham was still working on
it; i'm sure it wouldn't take 4 months to finish directing
something after the costume/prosthetics were already
created. besides, the wind's kind of out of drukqs sails now
right? maybe next ep/lp..

cool, I hope they actually release this video if it is out
there. I don't really care much for the track afx237, but
another cunningham video would be just peachy!

Why they didn't release full version of promo-video?!?
Why??? Why??? I'm really sad for this news.

Yeah, it a gutter if this news is true and the drukqs video
doesn't make it out...

Something tells me that CC wouldn't work for that long on a
project and let it just sit on tape...sooner or later, it'll
get an airing...

WARP FILMS should be released his Spectral Musicians DVD
pretty soon...I'm pretty sure that was slated for release in
the first quarter of this year so it can't be too far
away...

BTW: If you want to dl FLEX &/or MonkeyDrummer, e me on
j@g3rm.org and I'll send you a link...

Perhaps the promo video is really part of a new clip from
"the mystery new release". The Come to Daddy clip features a
part from Isopropanol so even though the video features
audio from afx 237 v7 it could be a clip from a new video
that isn't afx 237 v7.

The aphex-twin site is run by London-Sire, and it was a
one-off thing just like the Windowlicker site was. There
will probably be no more updates to the site until Richard's
next release, assuming it's on WARP/London-Sire (which it
probably won't).

maybe we'll have a song/video that will continue the
atmosphere of the beginning of afx237... that would be
really cool, i always wanteed this song to continue like the
intro wich is scary, maybe that's why the promo clip is just
the intro...

yeah! the rest of the song is pretty disappointing! it
could've been come to daddy 2 :)

As far as I know there were some problems with the online
video for windolicker or promo, whatever it was, sometimes
it worked someties it didn't. I just saw the drukqs promo
online...very strange. Has everyone else seen it
www.drukqs.net?
you do need quicktime though.
