It's actually quite an old memory, now. Well, two memories. The first isn't so much related to a speed trap as it is to the large number of police on Ohio's highways. I was about 7-8 years old riding in the back of my uncle's car late at night on the interstate. I can't remember where my dad, uncle, and I were coming back from, but a patrol car ended up behind us at some point, and I took my seatbelt off for a moment to stretch and turn around and proceeded to get us pulled over. My dad and uncle were a bit angry, haha. I have a few relatives that live in northern Ohio, and my family always drove there (never flew) to see them. Every single trip, we'd pass through at least one speed trap at some point in Ohio, and once (maybe twice), we were pulled over as a result of them. These aren't the most entertaining anecdotes which is why I originally chose not to bother getting into them. Hope they were mildly entertaining to read, though. :] |
