DXM is no good. It is intense in the beginning but starts to turn really gross after repeated use. You would be surprised what some kind and lotus will do for you. Codeine is mild but once you start getting into pills it can get nasty pretty quick especially if you drink. |

gee, why do I feel like the legal highs are the most dangerous? I have seen codeine first hand, turning an old geezer into a constipated zombie. DXM I've just heard stories about, but these so-called "dissociatives" seem to have a weird nothingness to offer, a weird out-of-yourself and beside-yourself. Of course I've taken some cough medicine with DXM but not like excessively. In these cases I would have to prefer even alcohol (of the legal highs). But I guess there are ways and then there are ways. |

I had a couple times where I had panic on DXM, but really there were other times when it just felt more physical. I just felt like something was really not right in my brain and body, waves of discomfort, feeling like i was gonna pass out, feeling like my equilibrium wasn't working properly. As far as legal highs, what is anyones experience with entheogens? I stand by blue and white lotus. It is really the most pleasant experience, especially if you mix it with weed or steep it in wine. It feels kind of like lorazapam or a mild opiate, but you can use it naturally (smoke it, make tea, use it in food etc.) From what I have read it is used a lot in buddhist temples. I also want to try kratom, which is like an asian opiate alternative. It is legal to order in the US, but it is kind of salty for what you get. |

I stumbled across this thread as I was thinking about trying paracetamol as a recreational drug. That sounds pathetic, but I am a student. My bank balance is pathetic, therefore so are the drugs I take. I have looked on Erowid and it says that unless one is addicted and uses them regularly, it's not a very positive experience. I should have gone out tonight. It is my friend's 21st and everyone has gone out apart from me. It will probably be a once in a lifetime thing, since everyone will soon be going their separate ways, due to the term ending. Soon after we come back after Easter holidays, everyone will be moving to different places. I was feeling a bit crap about all this until I watched a documentary about how bad it is for some people in Cambodia. You know the kind of thing- the government bating people up/ killing them to take thier land. At this point I realised I have it much better than many people, so I shouldn't feel sorry for myself just 'cos I can't afford to go out. Despite not feeling that bad any more, I still think it might be fun to try paracetamol. Don't tell me why I shouldn't take them. Please just tell me how many I should take. I am of small build, so I was thinking about 6 or 7. That seem about right, do you think, for a first-timer? |
