Actually the track from the top sounds like the opening from
Voodoo People with added drums.

they made quite a few decent songs after the first two
albums in my modest opinion.

I like the Prodigy, I just think they got a bit
directionless in the last album and tried to make music that
would sell.

they should have called it a day after fat of the land. i
mean that was good, but it had 'diesel power' on it. i mean,
damn, come on, that was cack.

as for the reason thing, thats a crock of shit, its an easy
claim with prior knowledge that that software is used.

Theres a few videos up on youtube of new material from this
album.

Warriors Dance - good track, sampling the vocal from true
faith - take me away and using it for a bit of an old
skool/big beat number. I quite like it.

Worlds On Fire - sounding a bit like every prodigy album
from experience right up to the last one. Listen closely for
some sneaky Vamp sample'age :D

You never know, this might actually end up being an alright
album!

land also... but the last one and this is rubbish imo

offline Nragzxer on 2008-05-21 07:33 [#02208847]

well this is at least a little less rubbish than the last
album thoug... but it's only a loop so then new album could
be worthwhile but as ijonspeches put it i'm not "wetting my
pants"

IMHO they just belong to the 90's era.

they started to follow the downward spiral of mainstream
system with the "fat of the land" album (well some tracks
still good nowadays)..in that way, they just lost good
ideas and perspectives

the problem is that their so called commercial music is just
bad (for me)

sax from the second best sweet dreams remix as well

warriors dance is one of the best prodigy tracks I've heard,
harks right back to the Experience era. I hope the rest of
the album follows suit

Experience was the first album I ever bought on CD. I loved
it. I remember when Jilted Generation came out and I played
it so much and took it everywhere with me that I had to buy
another copy. I didn't like most of Fat Of The Land (Fuel My
Fire, Diesel Power, Firestarter, fucking hell) and felt
almost betrayed. Always Outnumbered was just embarrassing.
They're still amazing live though and I will buy this
because well, it's the fucking Prodigy.

gilted generation. I forgot how much I like this album. So
many memories.

I just have so many memories attached to it. The worst
nostalga trip I took was the other day discussing 'More Than
Words,' crappy song, but the first time I heard it was the
start of an awesome night.

Jilted Generation was the album of the summer when I was
about 17 or 18 or however old I was when it came out... lots
of drives to countryside with my mates and getting stoned.

that doesn't explain why you should feel uncomfortable

well..

I was only about ten years old when I first got it. But it
was magic pretty much wore my tape of it out listening to it
on my walkman everyday.
