"What is interesting about this is that numerous
prophesies from ancient traditions around the world have
also pointed to this time period as a time of great upheaval
and change, perhaps the most important in human history. The
Mayans of Mexico marked this time with their famous
calendar. The alchemists of Europe built the Cross of
Hendaye to describe it. The Qero Indians of Peru call it the
Pacha Kuti and the ancient Egyptians referred to it as the
Zep Tepi or The First Time. In the Indo-Tibetan tradition it
is equated with the final throes of the Kali Yuga, the Age
of Iron. Each of these traditions tells us that a great
transformative moment is at hand, a moment in which we have
the opportunity to release old patterns and re-link
ourselves with the essential rhythms and harmonies of the
universe."

Yeah it starts off alright but then it says this:

"Over the course of the last one hundred years, during
this Age of Oil, we have used up millions of years of
compacted light created by the bones and residue of the
plants and animals that once occupied this planet. On a
metaphysical level that means our very environment is
suffused with the ‘ka’ or psychic residue of these
living beings from the past. Is the Age of Oil an outer
manifestation of the karmic traces, or seeds of destruction
left over from the beings of a former age? It certainly
appears so."

It then heads in to complete spiritual bullshit territory.

Of course this is only my opinion, thanks for sharing!

with it. What's bullshit about it? You didn't really state
your opinion you just said its bullshit

Wheres his evidence that 'our very environment is suffused
with the 'ka' or psychic residue' of beings from the distant
past? I'm just wondering because to him 'it certainly
appears so.'

the answer is to free our minds. Wake up from the trance.
And how can we do this? By shifting our focus inward,
realign ourselves with the highest of spiritual values. As
we look inward, truly align with spirit, perceive and strip
away the conditioned actions and karmic traces that have led
to the fear-based nightmare of the current
“manufactured reality,” the veil that obscures
our true vision will dissolve.

well glad we got that one cleared up. I'm all for people
freeing their minds and trying to be 'alive' in their
existance, maybe karma is true, but this is a bit wishy
washy....

Thing is, people have made predictions on prophecies karmic
balance, natural order etc since the advent of intelligent
communication. its nothing new. as swears said,
Nostradamus.... the only difference between now and then is
that we live in the age of communications, with tools such
as the internet allowing people to broadcast opinions and
beliefs that get skewered by hysteria and often misconstrued
as fact, when it is anything but.

the world is still in relevant infancy and mankind even
moreso.

Anyway, if the world does end, its not going to happen when
we're all expecting it..

The Mayas actually thought the world was going to end every
52 years... seeing it wasn't happening, they would sacrifice
people to "thank" her god or whatever.

Also, what's funny is the precision of the date, when you
know the inexactitude of every calendar... you know
the earth rotation around sun slightly decreases (0.53
second every century), and rotation around itself increases
2 milliseconds every century, because of moon and tides
effects etc...

BUT, and I'm screwed, I somehow believe in stuff like
reincarnation or even astrology... yes i'm fucking schizo

We'll be dead soon enough, Earth is struck by objects about
100-meters in diameter every 1,000 to 5,000 years - that's
nuclear bomb sized.

Every 15,000-60,000 years an extinction-threatening object
will hit us. Anything over 10 kilometres in size is
impossible to stop - even with nuclear weapons - that will
happen within approximately 250,000 years.

So long, long, long before the sun burn us out we'll be
extinct - 1000 times over in fact. The only difference being
that the earth will not be destroyed by a meteor strike no
matter how big - even if we won't. But when the sun turns
into a red dwarf, this planet will be completely engulfed.
That will be in 5 billion years and the sun will be 2,000
times more luminous than it is now and 100 times larger. But
the oceans will evaporate within 1 billion anyway.

Of course, there's plenty of time to bugger off and find a
new place to live, but we'll need to do it within 60,000
years - and that's being optimistic.

2012 will be the age of aquarius. Good things are said of
that age if you're into the hogwash. Bad things because it's

When 2013 comes, humanity can chalk off all the spiritual

The president of the US and A should give a speech on jan
