do you have a stable personality?

or are you like me: in a constant state of frustrated manic
confusion and bewilderment?

i am genuinely interested here. i would readily seek the
mentoring from a balanced and grounded individual. please
share. your wisdom is welcome.

to paraphrase george carlin, sometimes i'm bewildered and
other times i'm confused... sometimes i'm even manically
confused. but rarely am I both confused and bewildered.

actually that was a bad paraphrase. scrap that.

i think sex helps to most problems, and quitting a shitty
job or a relationship. also, take a long walk every now and
then... vitamins are good, too. watch your diet. sleep
enough.

simple stuff like that

so putting my willy inside a lady and moving it about until
i cum is the solution to my wobbly mind?

to your wobbly mind? no.

if you wish, you may substitute 'lady' with your favourite
home appliance or fruit

but there's no difference between mind and body, so taking
care of the body is a good way of taking care of the mind -
and vice versa

in one sense i feel complete stability because it all
appears so simple and easy to understand.

in another sense i feel like i have no idea whats going on.

generally speaking i would say that what you need is to
trust your instincts and thoughts.
there may be a lot of questions that you dont have the
answer to, but trust that you know the truth about the ones
you DO have the answer to.

and like box said, occupying yourself with primal needs like
sleep, sex, eating healthy and such will at least make you
feel better and focus on other stuff.

one of the most unhappiest times of my life was when i was
eating really healthily and working out for 2 hours a day

for me, the chemical state of my body etc seems to make
little or difference to my state of mind.

maybe i'm addicted to feeling 'not quite right'.

You're what, 20 or 21? Your mind will start to gel into
something stable soon. Enjoy the wild ride and try to do
something constructive in the meantime. It will make you
happier. BoxBob's advice is good - stay healthy. Get regular
exercise and eat fruits and vegetables and lean meats and
whole grains. Avoid soft drinks for they are Life Poison.
Try not to find all of life's answers in one book or guru or
philosopher or tyrant. It's a big, big universe. Boola boola
boola kaboola.

i don't know why but contemplating how my mind will change
over the next few years just got me really excited. i will
certainly cut down on the soft drinks as i've heard a lot of
'bad shit' 'bout 'em

hmm yes, it's an exciting time indeed

full steam ahead

i wish i felt confused and bewildered sometimes.

for the time being im incredibly stable in my apathy towards
everything.

i miss having passions about life, enjoy them, because when
theyre absent the boredom you feel is far worse than any
pain a passion could cause you.

oh, and definitely no soft drinks or stimulants (that
includes coffee).

maybe try a body cleanse, i have a lot of friends who are
doing those now.

try watching some of your old favourite films from when you
were younger. that seems to sort me out when i slip into the
old deadening apathy

also remember, you may love drugs now, but dont go thinking
theyre your whole life.

i used to pop pills incessantly, anything i could get my
hands on. now im afriad of taking one morphine pill i came
upon by random chance.

yes, there's no need to wait, you will start feeling good
WHENEVER you have the itch to start feeling better now and
it's all uphill from here on out!

the world is a really weird place - it is the place of all
places - and in such a place the ideal condition is NOT
stability OR confusion but stability-in-flux, mania directed
at creating your future.

and yes, fuck soft drinks, and i would say, in general, keep
a good look-out for additives like MGS and other neurotoxins
in everyday food. they can cause anxiety, headaches and
general malaise. They did for me. Gave them up. Also,
reconsider meat.

These are the sort of obvious things, yea, drugs and
stimulants (incluces caffeine, alcohol, pot, whatever) that
you can try playing around with - i mean giving up or trying
out different things instead. You say you don't see a
connection between body chemistry and mind chemistry, and
yet i'm sure you know what I mean when I say you're kidding
yourself.

i feel that same thing robably in my own way, i think
letting yourself feel pain or the things that you dont want
to feel is the best thing oyu can do, like being afraid to
talk to a girl, but then doing it and having something
totally better happen to your life. ( that just hapened to
me last night, who knows if it means anything, but i felt
alot better than knowing i was gonna feel undecided about
it) i dont know man just get into it

Yes I have a stable personality, my advice to you is to eat
fiber and fruit like apples in the morning and drink at
least 2 liters per day of water, it's the shit, toxins,
inside of you that give the mood swings so you need to get
them out your system as fast as possible, I'm a field
analyst I think I know a think or two.

i do get enthusiastic about things though, and can deepen
myself (very much) in subjects i care about. i think i might
have some weak degree of asberger or something. but that's
cool, i'm stable.
