ive got two (well, maybe two and a half) things to say: #1: autism and aspergers is not the same thing. aspergers is one of many autism spectrum disorders. #1.5 the classification of autism and aspergers is actually the exact opposite of putting people into categories; its specifically stated that aspergers is a list of symptoms for which the more you have the further you are on the continuum. if you wanna get really specific, everyone could be said to have aspergers, most just at an extremely low level. #2. drinking everyday/alcoholism is not necessarily because youre depressed about your sober state. i can't remember the last day i went without some kind of drink, and im not depressed everyday, nor do i drink to get drunk everyday. i drink because it feels good. and beer and scotch taste really good too. |
