I actually misplaced this MP3 from my EP7 folder... just found it and I'm hearing it for the first time... OH man... this is a badass track. The groove... this has to be my new fave Autechre track. It just DRIPS coolness. |

I think this is the last Autechre track that I haven't heard... other than really rare shit... And it's now repeating for the fourth of fifth time! This track is AMAZING!!!! Can't believe it was rotting in some other folder not being listened to for no apparent reason. :-( |

The funny thing about EP7 is that it just seems different. I think it has to do something with Frank Artwrite (sp?) or something. Although EP7 is good the sounds themselves don't seem as crisp as those in Confield for instance or LP5. Have you noticed this? |

I HAVE noticed that! LP5 sounds so... I can't think of a world. Vose In, Fold4, Acroyear, 777... it just has this ''sound''... crisp, yeah, that's a good way of putting it. |

Oh great :) Someone else noticed too! GO FRANK!! YOU RULE!! Maybe the reason EP7 sounds so different is because the masterers there at Nothing Records handle way different music I think, no? So for them to handle something electronic would be different than something live -- like guitars and live drums and singers. That's my only guess. |

you guys have good imaginations about Ae's tracks :) Amazing. One big vision I had (not A vision just an imagination) was with Vletrmx21. What seemed to happen was that time stopped and all matter including color started to vibrate...even time it self within the air. No drugs were used. It continued till everything vibrated more and more without me myself being included in the uproaring. I was only standing within, watching. I cried. |

Ophex, Zeiss Contarex is and has been my favorite Ae track for a long time. Absolutely amazing amazing amazing. Other favorite tracks include Tewe from Chiastic slide, and (track seven) from confield (forget the name). Amonbrune, EP7 was masterd by Warp Records people. Nothing Records only distributed EP7. They also left out the secret track if I am not mistaken. |

i kind of "hated" ep7 for a long time. i forgot about it for a couple of months, and when i put it back on, WHAM! it hit me like a ton of bricks! it's just one of those records. |

I disliked Autechre and thought they were overrated... now I listen to them more than anyone else... they really grow on you! So does their albums. I'm listening to EP7 for about the 45th time in the last two days. Left Bank, Ccec, Zeiss, Outpt, this is just TOO good... |
