I reached a whole new level in "wasting your money on
music" today,... paid $200 for a debut mini album,

The Avalanches - El Producto

well worth it though, been after it for fucking forever.

what's the most expensive cd you've bought?

i think i've answered this question another time it was
asked on here. i believe my anser is the ~$23 for a moby 2cd
import "everything is wrong" dj mix by moby. i'm not much of
a rare music collector when it comes to actually tracking
down and buying the release. i'll own all the artist's
in-print releases but (nearly) none of his rare/out of print
discs (not counting compilations (s)he appears on).

So I've effectively paid $10 per minute

Spiritualized 12x3"cd limited box of "Ladies and
Gentlemen... etc" Which cost £70 (new)

And I can post piccies!

I paid $70 or $80 for tool's lateralus the day before it was
released; i really don't know why to this day why I did.

Hrm. I've bought quite a few rare Black Lung/NIN albums for
~$60.

But $200, ow.

Herm, alternative question, what's the maximum amount of
money you've ever blown on one trip to a CD store?

I think I managed a bit over AU$1000 once somewhere in
Melbourne; then promptly had most the CD's stolen a few
weeks later.

what were the nin cds ?
you didnt pay $60.00 for them did you?

or all together you paid $60.00 ?

even double disk bootleg cds, are worth no more than $50.00

mah, each
this was going back 2 years ago when nothing was in print;
fucking impossible to find anything, and I don't like ebay.

cd's like sin, version 1 of further down the spiral, can't
remember what price each was, but i sure payed some stupid
amounts.

(This is AU$60 btw)

obsessed with owning a full set of halo's.

once i achieved that i realised i was stupid and it didn't
even really matter.

dunno what a quid is eggactly....some kind O fish? ehehheh

anyway i think the most i've ever paid for a single CD was
$20 bucks cos i didn't get it on sale.....i try to get new
releases the first week when they are almost 10 dollars
cheaper than the following week.

some peepz fork over lots o greenbacks (or whatever they are
in your country) for stuff.....yipes....i'd rather get
several for the price some peepz pay for just one. then
again i'm not a collector
