i don't think i've ever paid more than 30 usd for a cd.
probly a little more records, though.

last month, in toronto, i went downtown and spent around 210
one day, 100 the next, and 5 the day after that.

all on records and cd's. i was a happy kid :) found lots of
stuff i wanted

I don't own any very expensive CDs, but the one I hold most
dear to me is History Volume 1 by Michael Jackson. I think
the music is rich in itself.

Sings *But..if..you're thinkin about my baby it don't
matter if you're black or white.... Hee hee....Aoooowww!*

65 smackaroos paid for boards of canada-geogaddi. of
course it had a gram of hash stashed away in the inlet,
thanks to my Dutch friend.

Hash-$50
+Geogaddi-$15
--------------------
= Nice chill moment-$65

good thread!
I paid 70 dollars for Fluke's debut: 'the Techno Rose of
Blighty'. I was so hardcore for them a few years ago...
what blows is that I saw it one eBay a couple years later
for like $2.
Another frustrating one was when I bought my $30 'Chiastic
Slide'.. before it was released domestically for around $11
about a year or two later.
Man, they're out to get me I tell you!

I am from St Louis, and I sent you a CDR of the three old
Urge albums a few months back, remember? :)

Truthfully, I'm kinda glad they broke up. Their last album
was very weak and watered down compared to their older stuff
and I didn't like it at all. I did get to see them live
(Master Of Styles-era) and it was a really energetic fun
show.

"Daphnis et Chloé" by Tomita (1979, released on CD
in 1991 in Japan), about $31, 3 years ago, I still have the
ticket from the store.

Actually I'm changing my american Tomita CD's for the
original japanese ones thanks to eBay. Last month I get the
"Firebird" and "Pictures at an exhibition" for $20 and $13.
Nice!!

haha, yeah, after i collected all my halo's, they decided to
reprint most of them.

i can quite easily find about half the halo's here in
adelaide now, for cheap, and for god's sake, this is
adelaide (i.e. it's more of a large country town then a
city).

pissed me off to da max.

i can`t remember exactly, i guess it was US$40 (including
shipping) for the Venetian Snares` "A Giant Alien Force More
Violent And Sick Than Anything You Can Imagine" 12" box set.
I would`ve paid up to US$100 for this little gorgeous red
pill.

I have no CDs that are much more expensive than most albums.

'Seefeel - Quique' was relatively expensive ($25) for a
second-hand 1CD album, but seeing as it's quite rare, 25
bucks is peanuts, really.

Yeah, I have the Complete Studio Recordings, basically just
all the normal albums in a (pretty ugly) box. And awkward
booklets that are now falling apart on me. It was a quite a
bit cheaper than buying them all seperately though, I guess.
