and it's just a baby mouse. this is absolutely gutting. i almost stepped on the little creature before realizing what it was. it cant be more than months old. I dont know what my cat has been doing to it, but it's only half alive, though i don't see any bleeding. It has its eyes half closed as though it just wants to sleep forever :( If i would keep it in a box, i'm sure it would die on its own, but i couldnt get myself to kill it by drowning or whatever else. oh my goodness you wouldnt believe how impossibly innocent and harmless this mouse looks :(((( what to do? |

She will probably drag it under my bed where it will rot. i could take it outside and throw it against a wall, hard. but i would hate myself for it. i could flush it down the toilet knowing that it would live for possibly minutes or longer before dying slowly. |
