The Tuss = RDJ = thetussmusic on myspace run by Rephlex and/or RDJ = target=blank Fluorescent Gray = Robert Martin agree? To me it seems rather obvious! And actually although a bit stupid, I am not even angry at Robert, I think it is an understandablle way of promoting your own music in a very crowded scene, where some people are already famous and can do anything and people will buy it... But if anyone is not convinced I can explain in more detail why I think so, but most of you hae proboly figured out already... I am proboly quite late in understanding this... But since many at least on MySpace still seems to think that thoose tracks are by aphex, I thought I would make a topic about it... Sorry Robert if the fake was still working for you, I know you are on this messageboard... |

Sorry, the code is a bit fucked up... That the Biran Tregaskin Myspace page is a fake by Robet Martin It´s proboly too obvious... 1) The Tuss is Richard It´s obvious if you listen! And consider Rephlex, Richard and their history of myth making... 2) Brians myspace is fake Links and pointers to Robert Martin and his label all over the place. It does NOT sound like aphex!! Teddy Oggie beeing the only track even trying to mimic Richard... Robert Martin did the fake version of Utilted by Ae the other Tuss mysppace page is probobly run either by rephlex or Richard... |

Um, I guess ultimately the question is "who cares?" Not too sure this is worth making a thread about, tbh. The astute reader could clearly see that FG is associated with the Tuss on that page. I dont think it is a secret. And fwiw, I'm pretty sure that page has less to do with self promotion and more to do with addressing fanboyism and how information is validated on the internet. As for Teddy Oggie. That's an interesting track. I wonder if we will hear more like that from whomever created it?..... |

So MrDwatt's arguments haven't convinced me. Firstly, the tuss is worlds better than anything on Flourescent Grey's myspace. Flourescent Grey may make some good music (never heard of him until today), but you wouldn't know it by frequenting his myspace page. Secondly, I think Rushup Edge has more in common with afx than simply the track Teddy Oggie. Perhaps it's only me, but I can hear tiny twinkles of aphex magic sprinkled throughout the album, so if he's not solely responsible for the Tuss, he at least had his hand in it. No offense MrDwatt, but I think you're reading too much into this theory of yours. |

Ok, lets recap what you said based on your first post: "The Tuss = RDJ" but, since Brian Tregaskin supposedly is the Tuss, then that would mean that Brain Tregaskin also = the tuss. I was confused by the links, where you essentially say "brian tregaskin = Robert Martin" nowhere in your first post does it say anything about your actual "theory" which is that Teddy Oggie wasn't done by afx. To anyone who read just the first post, it seemed as though you were saying that The tuss = fluorescent Gray. That is all. |
