and this is so mild ...you can imainge how i feel when im sent damaged items in plastic bags 6 months late.(with no comunication) because it is all about communication. You could send me a piece of dog poo in a bag that was meant to be a diamond ring and get away with it, if your polite and send lengthy explanations. i bought an item off ebay from america. (silly, cause i don't live over there) anyway, it took them a week to put it in a box ive been waiting over 2 weeks for it to get off the dingy they loaded it on with with a 14 year old girl rowing as hard as she can after being fed one piece of toast for the whole journey. i thought well i am tracking the dingy...so i'll keep quiet , i wont say anything ..even though i'm peeved i could have just payed a few extra quid for a faster method. when i ordered the guy was all " hey thanks so much , im sure youll enjoy your item ..blah blah blah lets meet up and have a beer, " ( haha,y know what i mean) now i ask 2+ weeks later where my item is ..politely and with pleases and thankyous ...he just emails and says "usp tracking no.993****" no f**kin hello, sorry or goodbye!!!! im gonna fly to america and break his F==infingers. thank you for your attention ...goodbye :) freqs |

i knw there are 'far worse' stories but, it just goes to show that the after sales communication is what really peevs people off.. im sorry ..can i delete this negative post? this thread could turn into a black hole of death and suck out all the good things in life. still it releaves alot of tension. buut it would be better to convert negative energy to positive in my head before i speak or type,...cause the social chain reactions of my comuniction actions could negatively influence people that read this and hurt people around them and so on .. all around the world..(cut to camera shot of an old git sitting in front of his computer dribbling and picking his nose) |

If the $ was a person, it'd be that man from Unbreakable with incredibly fragile bones. freqy, yes, it's wank. They get away with it because most people roll over and take it and don't press the matter further. If sellers are in the UK it sometimes gets to the stage where I have to threaten to go round (not that hard for me as I travel all over regularly anyway). I don't care if it costs me £50 of fuel to get something I bought for £10, it's the principle of the thing that is worth far more than the small amount of money. I blame the youth's, "Meh, it's not worth the hassle, it's only £10" attitude. I think there's scope for some sort of global network of people who won't put up with this shit and when someone from America orders from a UK company 20 miles from me and they shaft them, I could "pay them a visit" to sort it out. Then, when I order something from Sweden that doesn't arrive, someone local there can go round to chase them up. |

Ceri JC your are a genius with your global network idea. yes indeed ! id do that too..if you ordered a stereo from a shop near me , i would go and visit them with a photo copy of your receipts and demand your item . With my portable dat id record what they say and send you the tape ...and then id get credit on your website...like an oniky/ebay type system. lol or with situation if you remember : They didnt even say "hello" or "best wishes" to me in their email after i was patient and quiet for over 2 weeks waiting for my item. i could put out a request for someone to go around to their warehouse and break their legs!!, just for a laugh like!! lol. Ive been fucked over on ebay. Never take a chance. If the seller is playing dumb like "I don't know how it works but it powers up"..stuff like that is a red flag. You are also encouraged to give great reviews cause you want one in return. Ive written some people hate mail years after the fact. It just needles at you. |
