So fucked up. I heard about it so I watched a bit of Raw last night, a 3 hour tribute to the man and his career. This was before we knew of a murder-suicide, just that they were all dead. Oh me of little faith was thinking about how I was probably watching a tribute to a child murderer. And right after going off the air, it was all but confirmed, and then the WWE removed all references to Benoit on their site, except the main story. Wrestlers on TV just hours before were praising him as a person and father, then the truth comes to light. Pretty disturbing. Surreal, I was a big fan of this guy back in the day, and the whole Calgary crew. Benoit- dead. Owen Hart- dead. British Bulldog- dead. Brian Pillman- dead. |
